North Lake Physical Therapy has been serving the Portland – Northeast community since it opened in 1987 as Reid & Yates Physical Therapy. Located close to downtown Portland and the Rose Quarter, the Portland – Northeast physical therapy clinic is just off of the I-5 Broadway exit and only one block North of the Broadway Bridge for those crossing the river.  Convenient off street parking and extended hours are available for those on their way to and from work by bike or car.

North Lake Physical Therapy in Portland – Northeast also provides a specialized Bike Fit Service. Our Bike Fitting Service is a comprehensive evaluation by USA Cycling Certified Coach, Michael Choate, MSPT. We ask you to bring in your bike and observe mechanics as well as evaluate frame size, crank arm length, cleat alignment, seat adjustment and stem length and bar height. This services is offered in our Portland – Lake Oswego location.

Willis received his Physical Therapist Assistant degree in June 2003 from Mt. Hood Community College. His undergraduate degree is from Oregon State University where he played football and earned a B.S. in Psychology in 1999. In February 2012 he became certified in Kinesio Taping in Atlanta, Ga. He worked at Reid and Yates since June 2012 and joined the North Lake team in 2014 when the clinics merged.

His approach is treating the body as a whole to improve functional dynamic stability. As an active athlete, he has a special interest in running mechanics, plyometrics, balance, and agility training for injury prevention/return to sport. He is currently a member of USA Masters Track and Field. In his spare time, he enjoys training, skateboarding, and designing clothes. His passion for helping patients improve their quality of life and return to sport with better knowledge of biomechanics is where he finds his strengths with physical therapy.

Dominic grew up in Bellingham, Washington, and attended Gonzaga University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. He then went on to earn his Masters of Physical Therapy from Ohio State and then his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with an emphasis in Sports Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine.

Dominic moved to Portland, Oregon in 2009 and began his career with North Lake. He has experience in orthopedic sports injuries, golf rehabilitation programs, youth sports injury prevention and post-surgical rehabilitation. He especially has a passion for working with athletes of all ages, from middle school to professional. Dominic enjoys helping people of all ages get back to a healthy, active lifestyle and regain confidence in their bodies.

Dominic and his wife, Lisa, have three sons who keep them very busy. With his wife, children, friends, or one of his many family members he is often trying to catch a sporting event, especially Buckeyes Football and Gonzaga Basketball or stay active in the outdoors and the community. As the oldest of seven siblings, with over fifty cousins, there is never a shortage of things to do!
